While local families would like to focus on providing quality education for their children, out-of-state activist networks and far-left non-profits continue to reshape classroom curricula to fit a radical environmental agenda.
Recent reports from national climate advocacy organizations highlight a growing campaign to bypass local school board standard revisions and force ideological messaging back into public education. To put it bluntly – indoctrination.
In a recent snapshot published by national climate activist groups like “Moms Clean Air Force,” progressive organizers expressed frustration that states like Arizona have taken steps to curb all-encompassing climate narratives and allow balanced educational materials into public schools.
Rather than respecting state educational guidelines – the wishes of parents and educators alike – these groups actively deploy strategic frameworks, lesson plans, and outside programs – such as the Cooler Communities Climate Education Program – designed to turn students into activist surrogates within their local communities. Under the guise of environmental education, these programs mobilize youth to lobby against traditional energy sources, grid expansions, and necessary industrial infrastructure.

Under the guise of environmental justice, out-of-state activist groups direct local citizens and newly minted youth activists to flood public hearings and lobby to block critical power infrastructure like the Sunridge Gas Plant.
This mindset – that any reliable, traditional power generation must be blocked at all costs – inevitably leads to radical policies that threaten Arizona’s very survival. When outside activist pressure overwhelms Arizonans, it forces utility operators and regulatory commissions to adopt extreme and impractical energy constraints. Where These Incremental Steps Lead

As Arizona’s population surges and demand from advanced industries like technology and AI continues to skyrocket, our grid is already stretched to its absolute limit. Instead of building the robust, diversified infrastructure needed to secure our state's future, these activist-driven distractions force policy makers to chase unproven, intermittent energy sources. The result of bowing to this mob is clear: skyrocketing utility rates, diminished energy reliability, and a state grid completely unprepared to power Arizona’s future.
